The Accessibility Features of Internet Browsers |
If you want to get some serious computer geeks arguing...have them compare browsers. There will be a lot of disagreement. All of these browsers may be downloaded free. Choosing between them is clearly a matter of personal taste. When you start a discussion amongst users from the disability community, you find the same kind of personal preferences leading the user to opt for a particular browser.
Microsoft's Internet Explorer is of course the world's most widely
used browser.
Mozilla Firefox is the the GNU Open Source and highly customizable
favorite of many power users.
Opera claims to be the fastest brower available and is very customizable.
Safari, the Apple Mac browser, is now available for use with Windows
and is a new player in the game. Apple has a great track record for accessibility
features and this browser is loaded.
